"Beautifully quiet cottage"

Nicky was very easy to get hold of prior to our stay...we got lost. She directed us straight to the property, staying on the phone so I didn't have to remember directions. Her mum then came out to meet us on arrival to show us into the property, taking my two young kids hands, making them feel at home straight away. Even taking them to choose their bedrooms! The house was great, just what we needed for our weekend away. Beautiful quiet spot, especially at night which ment for a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Nicky

Would help if directions to Meal House included Church Barn properties as Meal House sign v small. Also expected to be met by owner but no one there and no pickup on contact number or booking.com help line-had to leave messages

The location was lovely. Very quiet and private. The cottage is very well appointed including SKY TV and internet. Nicki was available if we needed her. All in all a great little cottage and we'll hopefully be back soon.

Quiet location. Perfect size for our visit. Cosy feel and fixtures and equipment all very good quality. Hostess went above and beyond for us. Decorating it for Christmas for us

"Absolutely amazing!"

The property was beautiful - a lovely and comfortable home! We thoroughly enjoyed our short trip to a family wedding at Pentney Abbey.

The only issue we had was finding the property as we arrived later than expected and it was very dark so we missed the sign directing us to the property. Nicky gave us her number ahead of us arriving and told us to let her know if we have any issues finding the property in the dark. Other than this, there are no faults at all with the property, I wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic location, very peaceful.

A mirror in the bedrooms would be a great addition as it made it rather difficult to style hair without one and then having to work out bathroom times with others to be able to use the mirror in the bathroom to apply make-up.
