On the Quay

It was very homely and comfortable in a beautiful building and all you could need in a convenient but quiet location.

Not a very powerful shower.

Very cosy and warm. Lovely location as we were able to walk along the beach, plenty of places to visit and very interesting to learn more about Harwich.

It was perfect for us so nothing to comment.

Great location, fireworks New Year’s Eve were excellent. Great amenities in the apartment, loved having a washing/dryer. Well stocked kitchen, nice variety of glasses and crockery.

The dryer took a long time to dry, maybe vent needs cleaning? We did find a clothes airer under the bed in the main bedroom though. Would’ve been nice if heating was turned on before we arrived, it took two days to warm up.

The building did smell of cannabis on entering several times through the rear door/corridoors

Warm and cosy, well equipped. Overall we had a lovely stay, thank you.

The only main issue were the bedroom windows. The catch to close the main bedroom one isn’t there so I had to improvise - not great especially with the storm. Also, the tv remotes both needed new batteries. Not great changeover process. More generally the common areas need some tlc but this isn’t the flat owner’s choice, I know.

Modern spatious apartment with all that could be needed for a self catering stay.

The flat was clean and modern, but the building's shared hallways and stairs, in what is otherwise a beautiful historic building, could do with some tlc and maintenance by the management company. Although I appreciate its not something our hosts can easily influence.

Yeah good quality flat with facilites to cook etc and washing machine so worked out ok for a longer stay.

Very nice accommodation with good location , nice time for holiday.
