The Old Coach House at Stewton

Location and accommodation

The house was cosy, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and well-furnished. The location is peaceful and lovely. We were met by our host Jessica who was friendly and welcoming. All in all a great one-night stay.

Beautiful property in a picturesque location, lots of open countryside, wildlife, quiet and calm. The coach house was very clean. comfortable and well equipped. Lovely views from the windows, strolls in the grounds or walks further afield. Jessica was lovely, there to help or give advice if needed. It was nice to bump into and chat with Dorothy, a local lady who looks after the pretty little church .

Nothing not to like

The location was simply fantastic with peace and tranquility.

Having to leave so early

Well equipped kitchen and a selection of basic commodities provided. Good shower, bathroom and all materials provided. Good wifi and TV, lounge facilities and equipment. Lovely garden and grounds, with garden furniture. Just a delightful place!

Nothing to dislike!

Spacious, nice garden.

The bed was too small. I am only 6’2” but my head touched the iron bars on the headboard while my feet touched the iron bars of the footboard, they were very cold so I had to wear my socks in bed! Also a bit cramped for 2 people. Couldn’t get the heated towel rail working 1st night but was shown a thermostat hidden behind a curtain on day 2. Could do with more 13amp or usb sockets. There is no door on the shower which does make cool & the floor very wet, also no tray to put toiletries in so had to put them all on the floor. Also very difficult to find, we were not given their What3Words location which would have got us to the correct property straight away, please ask for it :) With the above improvements it would be great.
