Spectacular 2 Bedroom Apartment in Great Location

We are requesting a refund. We had booked 3 nights. When we arrived, it was clear apartment was on a building site. After paying, we did receive an email saying there was building work in the area, however it was much worse! At 6:00 am diggers arrived and were reversing with loud beeping right outside the bedroom windows, the noise got worse with saws and pounding noises. We had expressed concern about the work the night before and the letting agency said it would not start until 8 or 9. This was much earlier. We could not open the windows and as the under floor heating system had no instructions, it was too hot in the bedrooms. We had no choice but to leave. The agency said they would charge us for the night we had but this is not acceptable. The apartment is described as spectacular and in a great location. This is a lie. It is neither! I have photos of the thick dust on the balcony which we could not use, the view out of the window first thing in the morning and a large muddy digger that completely blocked the path out of the apartment so we had to walk over a garden and squeeze a suit case out just to get to the car... which was coated in more dust.
