Bush House Accommodation - The Courthouse Apartment

Comfy bed, well equiped kitchen with adjoining lounge. Power shower a treat.

Too much noise be it the very loud music and singing from Bar next door or the road traffic out on street. Should have been told about the Pub location prior to booking.

Location … centre of town close to restaurants. Easy access to local attractions . Very clean , two smart fresh bathrooms, comfortable bed. Kitchen adequately equipped for short stays. Very “IKEA “ style ….. functional but rather grey and lacking the imagination and detail that would warrant a higher score.

No pegs in the entrance hall for hanging up outdoor coats , umbrellas , golf equipment . Door hinges very squeaky …… some oiling needed. A rug in the lounge area and some smart colourful cushions and a throw for the sofa would help enormously . ….. it all feels a bit grey and functional . A sponge or cloth for wiping the table and worktops or some paper kitchen roll would be helpful . Some additional cups and glasses needed. An additional shelf or cupboard for groceries needed for longer stays. Steep stairs …. 27 steps to reach the top floor apartment ( might not be suitable for small children or people of limited mobility)

The location is fantastic, the apartment itself is really beautiful. Comfy sofa, comfy bed, two bathrooms (both with a shower), and basic utensils for making tea/coffee/food - including a microwave oven combi.

Unfortunately I didn't realise there were quite a few stairs to the apartment, which was difficult at times for me, as I have reduced mobility - I couldn't find note of this on the listing, I would add same to the listing. Outside of that, two minor things - there were a lot of cobwebs in corners and light fixtures - I love spiders, but it was clear some spots were missing while cleaning. And the shower heads could do with a good descaling. Honestly though, these two things are so minor, I only mention them because no one will believe how good the place is, otherwise!

Great location for visiting the beautiful scenery around and the Giants Causeway. The owner let us check out later for free so we could shower after a swim, which was very lovely. The place was located above a lively pub thats great fun and filled with lovely locals (they even sang happy birthday to me).

We loved our stay but there are some minor additions that would've made it a ten/ten! As we were only staying 2 nights it would've been handy to have some basics in the apartment e.g salt, pepper, oil and shower gel. Also, I have a bad back and found the pillows too thick and set it off. The spare pillows were the same style too. Maybe having a thinner spare would be good for people to choose what they like/need?.
