GBGBGBThe size of the apartment was excellent. It's really spacious and well laid out. The bedding, towels, and kitchenware were really good. The location of the apartment was perfect, walking distance to the supermarkets and town centre. Ample parking at the front, but you have to be quick to get a spot.
To enter the apartment, you have to go down a smelly, dirty passage way and up some widing stairs. This doesn't give you the best impression. Also, there was no lock on the bathroom door. Would have benefitted from having a dining area in the lounge. The upstairs double bed matteress was a little uncomfortable. But others were fine.
GBGBIt was really big inside, the downstairs bedroom was huge and we lived that It was dog friendly! Also in a great location!
There wasn’t enough towels and no clothes horse to hang things if you washed them. Also no lock on the bathroom door.
GBVery spacious rooms and cleaned to a good basic standard, beds were comfortable and location and free parking ideal, good amenities nearby, kitchen well equipped for basic cooking, enough toilet rolls, free wifi
Stairwell leading to flat is appalling, dirty and full of clutter. Stairs rather scary to walk up and down. Flat smelled funny like many people have been smoking there before us. Floors are all squint and skew gives you motion sickness. Carpet a tripping hazard! No lock on bathroom door and no hand soap in toilet. Shower temperature knob broken. Some mould and conwebs and the general smell indicates it’s past time for a fresh lick of paint throughout. No table or chairs to eat at despite guest book full of requests from years ago and plenty of room in the lounge for it! You can pick up a used set for £20 from gumtree, it’s ridiculous to try and eat dinner sitting on the sofa and floors for 3 nights in a row. Sofa is also broken!
GBWe have been awaiting a refund but no response from the host when contacted by ourselves and booking.com.
