Piala retreat

Neil and Julie were amazing hosts and communicated well about where to park and where to look for the keys if they were not in. They've also left us some scones from a local bakery and champagne which was such a nice surprise after all day of travelling. The place was absolutely perfect for our stay, it was super clean and had everything we needed! We used the kitchenette to make breakfast in the mornings and it even had a TV where we could watch a movie on Netflix after a full day of being out. We also loved the shower and was much needed after being out all day. The location was also perfect, close (25-30 minute walk) to an amazing beach (Sandy Acres and Hayle Beach) and close to St Ives, and 30 minutes away from the best places/beaches in Cornwall.

The bed was a bit too soft to what we are used to, however it is just down to preference. We still slept well after being all day out :-)

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, the property was very modern and extremely clean. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with an amazing shower. Neil and his wife had left us a selection of cereal, tea fresh coffee and even went out of their way to leave milk in the fridge.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
