Great location

Everything you need for a short stay with perfect sea views.

Nothing to dislike

The location was great with a view out to sea. In walking distance of eateries etc. An excellent supply of teas, coffee and milk in the fridge.

We ate in one night and would have liked a table to sit at rather than the breakfast bar in the kitchen, but this is being really picky for what was an excellent apartment.

The flat was nice and warm when we arrived after a long drive from Essex in the dark and rain. Everything looked exactly as shown in the images on the booking site. The flat is bright and cheerful and has a load of cute additions to each room that make you smile, e.g photos, a table with legs, bird lampstands. The host had lots of different teas available, milk in the fridge etc so we settled in for a night with the TV on the big orange sofa with a cuppa! In the morning we could see the sea from the window and watched the early morning swimmers before we left. Like everyone says it's a shame we didn't have longer and we'd like to go back for a long weekend when the sun is shining. Thank you.

It was dark when we arrived, there is a light by the door but you need a torch to line up the numbers and get the key from the lockbox. We found it a bit fiddly and it took a few goes to get the numbers to match up and open. I don't like the dark so standing there for a while at night trying to open it made me uncomfortable. The solution is to try and arrive in daylight or take a good torch.

Even though we arrived late at night in winter the flat was warm and cozy. The design of the flat is very colourful and joyful. There was milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and chocolates to welcome us. The kitchen is well-equipped. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay with great views of the sea and the promenade. Meredid helped us immediately with any question we had before and during our stay.

The only downside was that the window in the kitchen couldn't be opened.

Best location overlooking the sea and people watching on the promenade!. Prime viewing for the starling murmuration every evening.Totally mesmerising. Superb, quirky decor which suits my taste...it's why I booked it. Flat equipped with everything. Also close to shops, the pier and excellent for easy walks to Consti Hill and the harbour. Well done!! And for February the weather was better than expected.
