Soay@Knock View Apartments, Sleat, Isle of Skye

Tiny kitchen but it had everything we needed. Lovely bay window but no view. Blinds as well as curtains, what a treat!

Bed is definitely only a double. A bit out of the way but we found a lovely pub nearby. Shared laundry, for a fee.

Very well equipped, especially electronically. Best shower of all the accommodations we experienced in 2 weeks. The kitchen had everything for real cooking. Washing machine was useful.

Too many switches (for people from the continent). A bit too much decoration, more place for the suitcases would be appreciated. Not accessible: narrow stairs and stones, you have to carry suitcases from the parking to the door. The windows are to the main road, so noise might be an issue with warmer weather.

Loved having a washing machine . Bath products were great Lots of utensils for coming with and loved having cling wrap too

Bed was a bit small for two adults .

I cannot speak highly enough of this place! Its absolutely incredible. Absolutely everything that you need is there, down to cleaning products, hoover, towels, bin bags, 3x toilet rolls. Dual sided mattress heater for the colder weather that you can control from either side of the bed. If one person doesnt want their side on they dont have to. Also equipped with a fan. Theres a lovely little pebble beach/cove and castle ruins just a short walk past the distillery. Takes around 9 mins to walk to! The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows, we both slept like babies. We will definitely be back! The local shop just a short drive away (around a mile) have some lovely home baked goods for sale. We would recommend checking out the old man of storr & fairy pools whilst your over this way. Breathtaking.
