Maretta, the host, was great with communication and very accomodating when my ferry was cancelled and dates for my stay had to be adjusted. The place was very well equipped for a single person or couple. Very cosy too. It was so nice to have access to a washing machine!

The mattress in the bedroom wasn't particularly comfortable (think it was old, as the springs were quite lumpy). Not a scenic location (it was in what seemed to be an industrial area) but that was something I failed to look up when booking. I felt like I couldn't have the blinds open during the day because people could see right in - perhaps the addition of some sheer curtains would have worked well.

fantastic facilities and very modern decor / kitchen/ shower room. the owners are extremely attentive and the perfect hosts.

Although we were booked in for two nights, due to bad weather cancelling our ferry to Stornoway we could only stay for one. That was a real shame as the property was beautifully presented , extremely clean and for a small place very comfortable and convenient.Our host, Maretta was excellent at communicating with us and even offered us another night's stay (which unfortunately we couldn't do).As we arrived at a late hour to the accommodation we really appreciated it's closeness to the port and the town-though it was a very quiet area.

Very clean homely house. Well stocked with daily essentials. Soft touches like disposable toothbrushes and extra towels which we greatly appreciated. Extrenely responsive and helpful host. Helped make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely recommend our friends and family
