"It provided an escape from home in green surroundings -lots to see"

Lots of nature on the doorstep. Woods were beautiful. Farm animals and horses lovely to have around. Cottage was clean and well decorated. Great size bed. Home made scones left for us were much appreciated -yummy

Shower room bit small especially for a 4 person cottage-and no windows so it smelt a bit damp. We could not get towels dry during the day so the dampness got worse. The vent needed to be bigger. Unfortunately -and these things happen-the boiler broke on day 3 so we had no hot water or heating. We were offered use of a hot shower in the main house, which was kind, however a bit of an outdoor trek. We were getting quite wet and muddy with the weather so no hot water was not great. Could do with bit more crockery and cutlery. Stone garden not our thing

"Lovely property."

Had a lovely stay with our granddaughter, she loved feeding the goats and seeing all the other animals. The secure outside area was perfect for our dogs. The scones were a lovely touch and absolutely delicious. We will definitely return. Thanks so much Rachel and Dave

Everything was great but it would have been nice to have had a tv in the bedroom. Also there was little storage for food other than the fridge.

The barn was lovely Rachel & Dave are very welcoming & friendly. We came here to visit family & our 2 dogs love it here. Will definitely be back again soon. 🙂

The property is very clean spacious and quiet. Fabulous location.the hosts left jam and scones out for us,to welcome and left milk in the fridge.weve stayed here once before and will definitely return.fabulous .

"Loved it, beautiful spot and overall a good experience"

Location and decor and the hosts were very accommodating. The scones left for our arrival were delicious!

The shower leaked and was blocked. The kitchen itself and the crockery needed cleaning. There were splatters of old food up the wall by the bin.

Great location in the wolds and very close to the wolds way. Good for dogs and walking. Comfy cottage and great hosts. Recommend.
