Woodland Lodge Oxen Craig

It's absolutely stunning!! So peaceful, so much nature, the lodge is absolutely gorgeous inside and out! The hottub was fab, absolutely loved it!!

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't find any instructions on how to work the cooker(hobs) , mustve took about 30minutes or longer to figure it out! Apart from that there are no faults.

Lodge was beautiful , hot tub , amazing, really peaceful , and private. Internally, so warm and welcoming, we loved the lighting very well laid out. Outside space on decking area spot on well done there. Easy access for routes to other places Well positioned would defo come again.

The following points are just cosmetic easy fixes, nothing detrimental to our Holiday. The shower pole kept falling out of the holder because the head was too heavy and the pole not fitted right. The Wi-Fi poor kept dropping out, so in the evening , if you want to sit and relax in front of the tv, it didn't happen. The bathroom window had clear glass, so there was no privacy, if on the toilet or in the shower Trees on path up to lodge could do with trim back overgrown not as image shows on Web site. Pathway lights nice, but 2 not working Hot tub burner glass panel kept falling out of door, fire glove well worn holes in fingers unable to use so had to use shovel to open and close door Could do with small chest drawer for storage of clothes . Next lodge along let dog wander about on its own ,came to our lodge started barking and growling at me, urinated on path , wife was frightened by this not fault of lodge owners but holiday people need to be more respectfull of others and keep dogs on spike lead if letting outside, we use one for our jack russell.

the bed is so comfy hot tub is amazing good shower good kitchen area staff friendly and welcoming dog friendly this was our 3rd stay and we already can’t wait to come back 😊

Stayed for two nights and couldn't be happier with the lodge and the facilities. Feels very secluded and very clear instructions for all amenities. Will definitely be back!

There wasn’t anything I could add the owners have thought of everything possible.
