Superb City Center 1 or 2 BR Apts King Bed

Good central historic area. Very walkable. Restaurants and and shops close by. Comfy bed. We did have reason to contact the owner and they were very quick to respond.

Very noisy location. Traffic and people at night. Because there is no air conditioning you need the windows open. Very hard to sleep with that noise. We couldn't open the living room window/door for extra ventilation. We did notify the owner to have repaired. The apartment was difficult to locate as there is no marking/address on the building. Our taxi driver finally located it. The apartment served our needs for the 2 night stay.

Modern apartment, great facilities, good location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gelu's apartment over the August bank holiday weekend, and it was a delightful experience. From the start, Gelu was incredibly prompt with his responses. We requested an extra bed and some pillows, and he arranged everything straight away without any fuss. The apartment itself was a wonderful surprise; it was clean, modern, and cosy while also being spacious. It was the perfect balance for our family's needs. We stayed for three nights, and the price was quite reasonable, especially given the prime location and the quality of similar properties in the area. As practising Muslims, halal food is an integral part of our stay, and we were pleased to find plenty of shops, restaurants, and takeaways offering halal options within walking distance. In fact, there was a shop right beneath the apartment that served halal food, which was incredibly convenient. Parking is often a concern during such trips, but there was plenty of street parking available nearby. The parking costs were not unreasonable, and for those seeking a more cost-effective option, a cheaper multistorey car park was just round the back of the apartment. The location was another highlight, being an easy stroll to the waterfront. There were also numerous historic buildings and monuments nearby, perfect for those who love a bit of cultural exploration. All in all, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Gelu as a host along with his lovely apartment. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay that catered to all our needs.

Fabulous apartment. Felt safe and secure in the flat.

Not the nicest of neighbourhoods but I felt safe enough. Due to my age I probably would think twice about walking around the streets in the evening.
