"Awesome and peaceful"

We recently stayed in Cox Tree Lodge and were blown away by how spacious, comfortable, and well-presented it was. The lodge was spotlessly clean both inside and out, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We even had a lovely view overlooking part of the golf course. The Club at Stoke by Nayland is just a 10-minute walk away (or a 2-minute drive), making it very convenient to enjoy the restaurant and bar. After 7pm, a shuttle service is available, which was a great added touch. We loved our whole experience from start to finish. The surroundings are incredibly quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape from everyday life. We wouldn't hesitate to return and would highly recommend the lodges to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

"Excellent lodges and location but they need a little TLC"

Beautiful Lodges, great location overlooking the golf course

We have stayed in these lodges on several occasions previously and loved everything about them. On this occasion we felt that the lodges are feeling a bit tired. The water pressure in the shower was low and the shower head didn’t fit properly in the cradle and the furniture was a bit tatty. The lodge had a lovely east facing balcony which would be ideal for morning sun and viewing the golf course if only the tree in front of it wasn’t blocking out all of the natural light and severely blocking the view. We also had bad experiences in the sports bar and main restaurant.

"In all a good stay and would consider booking again."

The location and grounds were beautiful and well kept. The rooms were very spacious and the accommodation felt special. It was perfect for our family trip

The swimming pool was only open for children for 2 hours a day, one early in the morning and the other over tea time therefore neither times were great - so didn't get to use the pool. This was a huge downside. Also the decking was unsafe in one of our lodges and needed attention.
