The apartment was beautiful, views amazing

Had a twilight spa booked for one of the days, was taken unwell so asked to transfer it to another day which was refused losing the money I paid, zero flexibility, then on the final night of the stay two trade workers were staying in the apartment below and decided to play very loud rave music from the afternoon until 1am, no security presence to manage the situation, totally ruined the stay

Lodge was incredibly spacious. Very comfortable bed. Entire lodge was lovely and warm. Loved the open planned living area. Much needed rest for us. Loved the tranquil quiet and beautiful views.

Welcome card stated happy birthday when we were actually staying for our 20th wedding anniversary. Large amount of cobwebs in living room and bedroom. Coffee machine had a burnt taste possibly filter needed changing. Toiletries in shower didn't work well but we took our own so all was good. Tv signal was very poor in living room but excellent in bedroom,lastly the milk which was provided in the fridge was off, thankfully we had our own. All of these are small niggles however to some people make or break a stay.

I’ve stayed at Apple Tree Lodge before and had a great experience. The lodges are incredibly spacious and come fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cabins themselves are beautifully designed, high-tech, and offer a good level of privacy. However, on this occasion, I found that my pans weren’t compatible with the stove, which was a bit inconvenient.

While I’ve stayed at Apple Tree Lodge before and generally had a great experience, this visit came with a few frustrations. Upon arrival, my key card didn’t work, so I had to wait for a replacement, which was a little inconvenient. We also had people staying above us with children who stomped around, making it quite noisy, especially in the early morning and evening. The stove was quite complicated to use, and to top it off, the alarm ended up going off, adding to the stress. There were a few things that could have been preempted—like ensuring the correct pans were supplied and making sure the key card worked before arrival. Customer service has since been in touch, which I appreciate, but I do feel it’s a shame that these issues weren’t addressed at the time or that some kind of goodwill gesture wasn’t offered. That said, I will be staying again and hope these issues are rectified for a smoother experience next time.
