It was like living in your own home and the lady that owns the property lived next door

You had everything you needed there..It was clean,The bed was really comfortable . There was a lovely welcome pack which was a nice touch.

Best part of our holiday was the marina, lots to do & see. Some lovely eateries, best being the PRINCE WILLIAM. Outstanding. Buses were a god send, plenty to use and regular, saved a fortune using them rather than taking the car. Car parking fees were expensive.

To many steep walks. 🥴 but you get used to it 🤣. Other than that everything else we were happy with. Our apartment was comfy if a little outdated. We had a few small issues but were happy to deal with them ourselves without complaining. The owner was unable to greet us due to being bed bound after an accident. GET WELL SOON. Nice touch being supplied with fresh fruit, milk, bread, butter & jam, box chocs and a nice bottle of red on arrival. Thank you. PS. Can i add 1 or 2 points for the owner to address. 1 front door needs better locking security. 2 front door step was loose. 3 garden area could do with attention as we found slugs & snails on the kitchen floor and passage way.

The property was a good size and great location to the Quayside.

Not being able to contact the host as expected. Couldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi and no response from the host. Called both numbers which were not connected. There was a damp smell when we arrived which could easily have been masked with an air freshener. There was half a toilet roll with no spares in the bathroom and no toiletries as stated in apartment details. When emailed in May about the booking the host promised a nice welcome pack which didn’t materialise either. Found this disappointing after our 5 1/2 hour drive to the property.

Price and Brixham

We got what we paid for. It's very tired could do with up dating and the sleeping/living area needs sorting. You walk in (virtually off the road down steep yard) straight into the bedroom/living area with a sofa, a Bed and Bunk beds which the ladder sticks out towards the bottom of the double bed. Dangerous as my hubby found out!! No laundry as the owner has been in hospital. But apparently would do your laundry once a week on a Tuesday in better circumstances. The heat last week was in the late 20s and as the sun came into the sleeping area from 10am onwards we found the living/sleeping area unbearable through the day and especially at nigh the noise from the road with the windows or door open wasn't good. Fan is on the list of items but wasn't in the accommodation so you do need to take a fan it may help!! No BBQ but then the garden area is extremely small so a BBQ would be iffy, Only 3 kitchen chairs, no side tables/coffee table to put a drink on while watching TV etc. A leak under the sink which isn't anything new has a plastic tub filling nicely. No good for anyone with mobility issues. Parking very awkward and not obvious as its in the owners yard to the left of the accommodation and on a blind hill. . No communication with the owner only saw a maintenance man doing work on the adjacent property which is apparently the same owner. We put the bins out as we saw others on the street had done as ours were overflowing. Area is lovely close to all facilities. Generally disappointing but as I said the price does reflect all this.

Nice location with lots of attractions beautiful beach area

Slightly mould smell in the kitchen, only 3 chairs at the table, about laundry the host can do our washing on Tuesdays but, being there Monday to Monday I didn't have washing until Friday/Saturday. Not big issue, but needs other available days for laundry.
