Lovely and comfortable and clean. Great location and sea view. Bedrooms are so peaceful and quiet too.

The location was perfect, a short walk to the old town, plenty of choice of places o eat. Car parking is right opposite and you can see your car from the window. the car park is run by the council and their description implies the max time is 24 hours. if you use Ringo on your phone to pay you can simply extend this each day.

Beautiful space, light & airy with great sea views.

I could not use the main bedroom due to damp/leaks. There were traces of fresh water trails on the wall the bed headboard was against and evidence of severe leaks on the ceiling of that bedroom that had been painted over. The ceiling plasterwork was sagging. Not sure what was under it but I have a health condition that means I cannot stay in a property with mould or damp as it can make me seriously ill very quickly. I slept in the small bedroom instead as it seemed fine although there was a lot of dust and dirt on the window frame. Ironically i had to book to book this last minute as the property i had booked for the weekend had mould and rising damp in the bedroom ..... I couldn't find alternative accommodation so ended up sleeping on the sofa for my first night in Hastings .

The mattress was too soft and I was unable to sleep as something seems to be biting me all night. And the radiators were not working.

This is a lovely flat, and the location is great, with lovely light off the sea reflecting in. There is everything you need to cook, including things like salt and pepper, so we bought fresh fish on the seafront and ate it looking over the sea. Hastings is a fascinating place to walk around in its decaying grandeur, and this is the perfect base. Communication was excellent and very helpful. Would very much recommend.
