The House Of Selfies

We loved the decor and the quirky features. Our 4 year old daughter loved the bath filled with plastic decorations in the living room. The beds were comfortable. All the fittings were of high quality and very fresh. The location was excellent other than being next to a busy road. So close to the town centre. The flat had everything we needed and the breakfast was lovely.

The worst things were the traffic noise and the noise from the neighbour above (it's a ground floor flat). For some reason the neighbour above (on both nights) decided to plod around with squeaky floorboards / furniture rattling on them etc in the small hours of the morning, including banging doors several times. The flat is right next to a busy road with lots of traffic including lorries trundling past until the early hours. Sometimes our closed bedroom door would rattle. You could also hear people talking who were walking past on the pavement outside and this was with the windows shut. These noises meant our sleep was very disturbed and we've come home after the weekend feeling exhausted which was not what we were looking for! The property would really benefit from some new double glazing to try and block out the traffic noise. The water was scalding so had to be very careful to watch our 4 year old. The bath was quite slippery and would benefit from some grip stickers on them. It wasn't ideal that there was no parking but we managed.
