"Short stay in Hasletown."

8.0

The isolation was peaceful but not too far away from St. Ives. Ideal for local points of interest. Thanks for the small bubbly.

The inability to access terrestial TV. This problem is not new and dates back to 2022. The shower hose is terribly unclean.

"Exceptional"

10.0

The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Everything was very well thought out and provided. The bed was extremely comfortable.

It would have been nice to have had a little garden area to sit in but this didn't affect the quality of the accommodation.

"A comfortable unit in a quiet area"

7.0

The unit was well appointed especially the kitchen but as others have mentioned there were some issues with a TV that doesn’t work, no milk for a cup of tea on arrival and whilst there is a washing machine there is no dryer. It’s a real shame as the unit is otherwise very nice.

The place was cosy and had everything that was needed. It was also in an extremely quiet and convenient location

Being told that the fee for a dog was double what it said online but understood they were in the midst of updating it

"Great place for 1 or 2 people."

10.0

Loved the location, dedicated parking space, just doors down from the wonderful Hasletown Inn, a 9 minute drive to Tesco Superstore, 5 minutes to the local laundromat, if you want to dry your clothes, (can drive to it because it is located JUST before the street narrow down. Quiet, easy to drive to great sites around Cornwall. Good kitchen, comfy bed and armchairs.

It wasn’t so much not liking something so much as being spoiled by a high pressure shower at home and not always being able to get a signal to watch TV but we weren’t there for TV. Our host was very communicative and helpful.

"tiny smelly garage"

1.0

Bus stop to get to St Ives is 2 mins walk. The village is quite peaceful.

I am puzzled why this place has such a high rating. Property is a converted garage. It smells dump and the smell is covered up with heavy scented air fresheners. I had to put on heating and open all the windows and yet the smell persisted. Bathroom is an issue in its own right as it is the source of unbeatable dump/vanilla musk smell. I had to leave the light/fan and heating on all the time to be able to use it. The smell only started to fade by day 5. I spent there 6 nights. The bed is horrible. Mattress is so bad I couldn't find a spot where the springs were not going for my ribs. The place is tiny. It might be okay for a very intimate couple, but I have no idea where the supposed cot would go or how you'd survive if you are not a couple. If you decide to cook something, brace yourself that everything will smell like it - so no oven cooked fish fingers! You have to be somewhat miniature of stature to both fit at the breakfast table. There is nowhere to sit outside - if you sit on the bench that you see on the photos you are between the window and your car, no sun there either. Located on the Main Street but don't get confused by the size of the village looking at google maps - it is a busy busy street with cars, buses and caravans going back and forth at all times and well above the speed limit of 30 mph. I was also lucky to witness roadworks for 4 days out of 5 that I was staying. Idling engines and chatty tradesmen. Parking is very small. Anything bigger than an old Honda civic will be oversized. Hosts actually live next door but for some reason don't say anything other than hi. I only discovered who they are when they knocked on the door on the check out day with cleaning supplies in hand. Last but not least: if you decide to take this option bear in mind that google maps will try to get you there through a true Cornish road meaning no good. Follow signs to Halsetown and turn left at a roundabout after Debbies garden centre.
