Romantic, secluded cottage in Cardinham Woods, Cornwall

Cozy and quaint with enough facilities for you to shut out the world and relax in your own space. The owners were lovely as well.

Nothing it was lovely.

There was absolutely nothing to not like! The location is stunning (if a little narrow to get to but that's to be expected 😆) The goat house itself is a beautiful self contained little piece of heaven! Upon arrival we were met by mark and introduced to the goat house, Polly visited later to say hello too. The goat house is a very tastefully decorated and well equipped apartment, with a lovely sitting room/kitchen area. A double bedroom and a shower ensuite. The kitchen had everything you could need including egg cups to be able to enjoy the eggs left for us as an arrival gift from their very own hens! Unfortunately the weather didn't really lend itself to being able to use the BBQ on its own decking behind the house but it's a lovely view from up there. We used the house as a base but did spend one full day just relaxing and watching the rain/sun/rain/sun of the Cornish weather and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the sound of the birds and stream all around us. This little spot in the middle of Cardinham woods is absolutely amazing and we were very sad to leave. Would definitely visit again if we decide to visit Cornwall again.

Wow fantastic location and accommodation. Polly & Marc made us so welcome and the goodies pack was fantastic especially the free range eggs

This was our second visit as we fell in love with it the first time we stayed!! We love the fact it’s so quiet and secluded and you get lots of chill time

Beautiful and cute cottage in the woods. Absolutely perfect. The comfiest bed ever. Lovely walks from the doorstep. Friendly owner. Fabulous roof terrace. We’ll be back.

Wonderful secluded location . So quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a “get a way from it all” break. Clean and Comfortable. Good location to explore Cornwall, but equally if you want to stay put , the woods are a haven for walks and appreciating nature .

Liked the decor, nice and quiet secluded location, owner was nice and left us to it. Left us some vegan bits which was nice. There was cows right behind us which was lovely to see.

The fridge smelt really bad, the owner Polly did ask us how we were getting on and I could of said then but didnt want the bother.

Great location and great for walking around in the woods

The property was beautifully appointed, small but fantastic use of space. Cost and warm with a rustic charm and a wonderful decking area with amazing views of the woods. Tranquil, relaxing surroundings with great walks through unspoiled woodland
