Cool in heatwave, and tranquil setting

Nice little apartment in a lovely part of Yorkshire.

Not the easiest to find, (but that’s just my opinion)

They thought of everything you could need. Lovely welcome pack with extras, comfortable, clean, secluded with garden and enough space for children, dogs, and even a barbecue area.

Beautiful apartment, there were some essentials in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. Toiletries were also provided, and the towels were bath sheets, so good size. Lovely location and scenery. The owner emailed us before the break to give directions and ask if we needed a bed for the dog, which was also a lovely touch. The garden was secure too

The stairs leading to the apartment were slippy when wet, but there was a hand rail.

Excellent accommodation with stocked fridge, tea, coffee, bathroom toiletries. A high standard, clean and excellent customer service.

Being underground, there aren’t many windows!

The property was like home from home with lots of nice little extra touches to make our stay so perfect. The location is great with a 15-20 minute walk into the town centre and we got taxis back which were around £7 (dog friendly too!). Sara was a lovely host and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be returning.

We had a super stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything anyone would need for a relaxing weekend. A great pub, The Wooldale Arms, only 200 m up the road, had super beer and very friendly locals. The only downside to the apartment is its distance from Holmfirth centre, it’s a good 20-25 min walk and all uphill on the way back
