Luxury 2 Bedroom waterfront apartment with balcony

This is a great apartment, conveniently located about 10 minutes away from the train station (on foot). We came from Devon to attend a concert in Cardiff and couldn't check in until after the event, which was not an issue. Rebecca and Matthew explained everything prior to us arriving, so getting the key and checking in was straightforward. The apartment itself is very clean and beautifully decorated, the beds are comfy, and it was lovely having coffee in the morning on the balcony. The front door is a bit tricky to open/close, but it wasn't really an issue, just took a couple of minutes to figure out ! We only stayed for 1 night, but will absolutely book again when we are in Wales in the future; we were very happy with the value for money, the experience was hassle-free, and Rebecca and Matthew were lovely throughout our communication. Great location only 5 - 10 mins from shopping & town centre. Clean, comfortable & nicely decorated. A well stocked kitchen equipment, a real home from home.

Was warned no lift so on the second floor but we managed.

Lovely apartment. Lots of small "attention to detail" embellishments that raise it above the average. Great view across the river. Very central.

The key collection point felt farther from the apartment than it looked on the map and that's a problem is you're towing lots of heavy luggage.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, quiet and comfortable. Good to have a garage available, though it is height limited, so our kombi van wouldn't fit in. Plenty of space for a regular vehicle though. We parked at the nearby multi-story.

The waterfront is not quite as exciting as it sounded, the cafes etc were in a cluster of (mostly) fast food restaurants on the other side of the nearby footbridge.

Spotless and the perfect weekend bolt hole

One niggle … the hot water wasn’t the hottest and you had to run the bath whilst in it to get any sort of hot bath. We never touched the cold water tap. Shower was slightly warmer. It’s a good job it was warmer than average outside. It’s not a criticism but just a heads up if you like really hot baths

Parking ; garage just no where near big enough for a wider vehicle and road parking nearby residents only .

A really fabulous apartment. Set up to be a real home from home. Very highly recommended. Great to have safe private parking too. Recommend you measure your car's width including folded-in overtaking mirrors as the garage access is narrow. We got our Qashqai in, just. It's on the 2nd floor with no lift, but the 32 steps are quite shallow and definitely not challenging.

The location is really phenomenal with a beautiful, romantic view of the river. There are also many good restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
