Delven House - Self Check-in, Self-Catering Serviced Apartments

I liked that the apartment had an air fryer, which was very convenient during my stay.

The windows were not well insulated and cold air was coming through, so the apartment felt quite cold during the colder season. There was also almost no sound insulation, so I could hear all the passing cars and airplanes. The hosts allowed workers to enter the apartment without my permission, and some of my bathroom items were thrown away. Even though I stayed for three weeks, only one towel was provided, and when I asked for another one, I was told I would need to pay extra. The shower head was leaking, making it difficult to shower properly. Parking was also inconvenient, as there was no dedicated parking space and it was often difficult to find a spot on the street, sometimes requiring a few minutes’ walk. The price is too big for what you get.

Great location for Donington Park,, the Airport and the village.

Great location, quiet most of the time but did have a few days of loud construction work at adjoining property. Nice pubs nearby for dining.

Extremely uncomfortable sofa and the tv placement was too high to make viewing enjoyable. Property is poorly maintained and dirty. No clean towels provided and we had to buy our own supply of toilet rolls, hand soap and dish soap. An ok stay for a night or. 2 but would not recommend for longer stays.

Homely and clean.

The misleading information about the car park. States has a small car park to rear of property. What they don’t tell you is that if you drive anything bigger than a small hatchback you can not fit through the narrow entrance. The free street parking is also misleading as most of the roads are double yellow lined and spaces quickly get filled by the locals.

Location was fantastic for shops, bars, food and airport.

Old chicken found in the little plug in oven / air fryer and a lot of greasy pots, cutlery etc made us lose confidence in the cleaning regime of the property.
