These apartments are being sold under false pretences. I booked through booking.com and I should have questioned the fact that they have no photos of the exterior. The building is described as an apartment but it is no more than a single storey concrete shelter in the Bevridge Park Hotel carpark. There is no reference to this hotel in the description and it’s not surprising as it’s being used to home people. Fine if you are expecting that but at least be transparent when selling the accommodation! The place was not clean. My husband had to get rid of the crumbs in the fridge and clean it out properly. There were also items from the previous occupant under the bed (and probably still will be for the next customer). The bathroom smelt of urine and the shower cubicle is mouldy and a rusty hand rail in it. I was asked by the cleaner if I’d like the turn down service when I arrived back at 4pm…she hadn’t been near the room to even make the bed let alone provide a turn down (not that I was bothered about that as I’m capable of making my own bed but the offer was a joke!) The windows have roller blinds which means that you have no privacy when they’re up as you back on to a main road which is also like brands hatch from 5am. This also means that you can’t keep the windows open to air the place because of the noise levels. I paid £100 a night for this and I think it would have been a fair price at half that amount. It’s central and that’s about the only thing it has going for it. Book if you dare but don’t expect to get value for money.

"Avoid this hotel"

2.0

We turned up at this hotel in August for a 3 night stay. Please note this apartment is situated across from the main hotel with a view of the car park and busy main road. On walking in it smelt quite musty. The white bedding had pink stain marks on and I felt it was not clean. The pillows did not smell fresh. My husband and I decided this definitely was not for us. We immediately spoke with the Receptionist who at that time was a tradesman. He got a member of staff who wanted to show us a room in the hotel. To be honest this had put us off and we just wanted to leave. We knew from the traffic it would be noisy too. The tradesman then said he would speak with the manager and he said he would reimburse us. Naively we left. The manager of this hotel did not honour his word. We have tried since August and through Booking.com but no luck. The reception does not help and the manager lied to Booking.com saying they would then give 2 nights and not all 3 back. Absolutely shocking we are now nearly £300 out of pocket and will still pursue this. The manager despite whatever comments they put after mine has definitely not tried to contact us. We were told we would get our money back and have not. Shame on you Forth Hotel.
