Host & Stay - Starboard Bow

Very modern flat, clean. Parking excellent. Excellent view of whitby and the estuary. Telescope was a nice touch. Only 5 minute drive to the town or the Abbey. Lift available, which is good as apartment is on the 3rd floor. The area around the flat was quiet.

Heating was locked and had to phone to get it changed. Wouldn't matter in summer but we went end of April and was still cold. 15 minute walk to the town. Don't like check in time of 4pm, should be 2pm.

Host & Stay did not tell the owners that the hot bathroom sink tap was not working, or the extractor fan. Extractor quickly fixed by owners - tap to be replaced. Owners very helpful and apologetic.

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. Close enough to the centre of Whitby but still quiet and peaceful. Great views of the harbour and river

Great location with exceptional views

We had lovely views of the Estuary. The apartment had everything we required.

Possibly needs redecorating. Just painting the walls in some areas

heating controlled remotely by the owner. it was chilly documents and instructions very out of date

it was clean & comfortable

arrived but the wrong pin no. was emailed to me to retrieve the key which took me 20 minutes in the rain eventually I had to phone reception for the right pin . There was no water coming out of the hot water tap, the toilet when flushed made a hell of a noise, probably air in the pipes

The location was perfect, comfortable and clean

It was cold and the electric wall heaters was locked so we couldn't turn the heating up
