"Great location and cozy"

Caroline was perfect. Welcomed us, explain how the house works and suggested places to visit and restaurants to go. There were some things for the breakfast, which we were not expecting. Oban is gorgeous and staying here made the trip even nicer.

Caroline our host was amazing, Holly Lodge was spotless, would recommend it to anybody, very quiet.

Me personally, i would have liked a small bucket chair for comfort.

"Lovely but not what we expected."

The location was great for accessing the centre of Oban by foot. A 15 min walk takes you right to the waterfront. The property was lovely and clean and very modern. Caroline was a great host, giving us privacy but also on hand if we needed anything..

The 'kitchenette is not really what we expected. Although there is crockery and a microwave, there is no kitchen sink, so all washing up had to be done in the bath. Not ideal. The property is described as detached, but us in fact semi detached, with the owner occupying the majority of the property. This wasn't a problem as Caroline is lovely, but the description is not accurate.

"A beautiful cosy home and a magnificent Host !"

I liked everything about this beautiful cosy Lodge. A Wonderful and cosy private retreat with all the homely comforts. It is situated just a short stroll from the centre of Oban in a peaceful hamlet style setting. Caroline the Host met with me at the Lodge to hand over the keys and she is an absolute joy, sharing with me her priceless local knowledge.

That I couldn't stay longer...

Beautiful accommodation,Caroline was there to greet us. Perfect host. Friendly and chatty,made us both very Welcome. Accommodations was bright,very Clean and Comfortable,short walk into town. Nice and Quiet. Would definitely stay again.
