Sunnymead Penthouse - Close to beach, Pets welcome, Balcony

Location is excellent with easy access to town, the station and the seafront. Lounge area was very comfortable and the kitchen was very good. We have stayed in a number of properties in the local area and each have their good and bad points. Overall for us this one is now our preferred one to return to. The advertised details of the property does not make it clear that there is a parking space for the flat at the rear. I had been put off renting previously because of this. Lastly, I am aware of some negative comments regarding the garage businesses to the rear. At busy times it would maneuvering a large car in and out of the parking space a tad tricky but apart from that I was not bothered by their proximity.

I found the main mattress to be tired and uncomfortable. Resolved the issue by using one of the single beds as well as the main bed was far more comfortable with only one person sleeping on it. We did get asked by a neighbor to turn the tv down. Not an issue, they were lovely and of course we obliged. It did make me very conscious of any noise for the rest of the stay as it wasn’t up that loud but I wouldn’t want to be a nuisance to anyone.

Lovely, comfortable and modern apartment with private parking space in an excellent location for getting around Exmouth easily - just a short walk from the sea, shops and train station. The agency was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay (especially the nice sunsets seen from the living room/terrace) and would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Central location to beaches and shops. Modern and spacious apartment. Quality furnishings. Balcony with a view of the sea.

Mattress needs replacing in main bedroom. Several light bulbs not working in ceiling and bedside lamps.

Everything was central - the property was a delight too stay in.
