Loch View

Great view! Bedrooms were cool in the heat. Lounge was easy to relax in.

Smell of smoke. Towels provided were tiny. Some areas in poor condition. Not a nice area.

The view of the loch and surrounding hills is absolutely stunning any time of day. We felt at home in the apartment, found the beds comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The walk down to town was most enjoyable and those times we didn't want to tackle the hill, we would just take a quick and inexpensive taxi ride up the hill. Ronnie was very helpful, providing lots of information to help us plan our time in Fort William, prior to our arrival.

a bit run down but clean

The view was fantastic, and the location was great, easy to walk into town.

The apartment smelled a bit musty, we had to air it out a bit when we arrived or maybe it is just that the building was older. The building itself did not seem well kept but the apartment itself was clean. There were no hand towels left out for us and no dish towels so I would say that the linens were kind of partially supplied.

Location good only, 10 min walk to high street, another 5 to railway stn, however beaware down hill there but uphill back! Good views over the water due to flats elevated position on the residential estate. Car parking on street outside flat or bottom of some steps appeared safe, we experianced no trouble and car in view at all times. No noisy neighbour's to complain about in fact quiet neighborhood. Great f!at layout, easy to access all areas and homely. Heating adequate. Hot water suffieciet. Elec shower over bath efficient.

Now I'm a man and I thought the place was tidy, clean and well equipped. But a lady in my party considered some surfaces, such as light switches and cooker hood etc needed a clean and dusting. The notices in the flat eluded to bad clients in the past and instructed no smoking or pets. No problem for us and only right to respect someone else's wishes and property. We left the place tidy and as we found it except for the stripped beds and towels left out for the cleaner. I loved the place.
