Hastings Pad

We liked how cozy the apartment is, you feel comfortable, very clean good communication of the area, It's just as they put it in the ad with all the comforts. delighted my family. 😊

The apartment is spacious, in a good location for town, has a comfy sofa and a washing machine, which is handy. The shower is fine. The bedroom can be kept pretty dark after sunrise, which aids good sleep.

Everything in the flat is basic, especially the mattress, which is very thin and bouncey. The neighbours like to sit on the roof and play music all day on Saturday (or at least they did when I was there) and the construction opposite drew scaffs out from 8am onwards, which is fine if you don't want a lie-in. The front door only has a latch, which feels a little insecure.

The property is very cosy. It has everything for comfortable stay. It is very clean. In near proximity of Alexandra Park and to the beach. The host is very nice and communicative.

Beautiful. Everything that we needed and excellent use of space. Three children and still plenty of space.

Fantastic location and this ground floor one bedroom apartment has everything you could need including different tog duvets (winter or summer), surplus towels, kitchen ware and utensils, incredible sky light with easy to use adjustment pole/stick w/attached fitting to open and close the sky light. There’s a Morrisons more or less across the street to stock up on whatever you are used to or would want to supplement your stay with. You can also recycle cardboard, paper, plastic, tin/aluminium using the pinkish red plastic bags supplied - just leave it tied outside of property before Tues morning. Key secure lock box was straightforward and instructions for use clear as a bell. No issues at all. Make sure you eat at the Cookhouse on Queen’s Rd two short blocks towards sea. The place is an enchanting experience from decor to staff to menu with the food as the star of this almost Disney level kind of production yet affordably priced. Worth coming to Hastings for just to eat there - but remember to call first to make a semi-formal reservation. And just 3 mins walk from Hastings Pad !
