Seaways glamping, Silverbirch

Lovely little place that is easy to find and had a pretty little pond outside all of the cabins. The kids enjoyed seeing the fish. We had Silver Birch cabin and stayed for 5 night, which we managed fine, especially as this particular cabin had its own bathroom and little kitchen area with microwave and small fridge, which made it easier for us with the kids. We had two kids with us and our hosts kindly obliged us with an extra little mattress for one of the kids to sleep on. We all slept well. We didn't have any issues with noisy neighbours or anything, so it was a peaceful stay.

You can hear traffic from the road that runs alongside it, but the running water sound from the pond was lovely and drowned it out a fair bit.

The on-site cafe closes at 4pm, I know that they need to have a life but a couple of hours later would have been better for us

We were allowed to check in early Good size Cozy Facilities Bed was comfortable

It was heated, had its own bathroom and kitchen area. It was raining so didn’t get chance to sit on the outdoor seating but nice touch to have that option. The pond makes a nice view too. The meals from the cafe were fresh, good portions and good prices. The owners were really friendly too.

Parking was limited but wasn’t an issue I still managed to get parked

Easy to find with being just off the main road in a lovely setting. The site is small with just a few cabins so nice and quiet, well maintained, lawn, living roofs and pond made it feel magical. I stayed in Silver Birch which was clean and well equipped with linen, kitchenette and shower room. My dog is anxious but he settled in and slept. Great stop over for one or even two nights. The cafe on site was a bonus. Thank you for the commentary tea and coffee, that was unexpected but a nice touch.

The mattress and quality of the bedding could have been better but it was clean and it didn’t stop me from sleeping. A small table lamp would be good for reading and giving some softer lighting.

So cute and romantic. Ended up getting engaged the day after we stayed so was perfect for the weekend we had. The fairy lights on pond were a gorgeous touch.

Mattress was very hard. Didn't effect our sleep but woke up a bit stiff.
