Newly refurbished 1 bed first floor apartment with wifi

Very clean great amenities very quiet

Public areas were a little shabby

The Host, Nigel, sent a comprehensive email on how to access the parking, the front (and back) entrance doors, extra parking availability, and codes for the lock boxes. We were given a phone number, should there be any problems or extra requirements, and Nigel lives only fifteen minutes away. The accommodation consists of a large lounge with large LG TV with HDMI and router for WiFi, comfortable seating, and a dining table and chairs; a spacious bedroom with hanging space, and a double bed with deep mattress in a metal bedframe, dressing table and a full height mirror; an electric shower over the bath in the 'facilities room' with a good hot water system, and extra soft towels; a well stocked kitchen for virtually any meal preparation, with large fridge freezer, electric oven, and induction hob with extractor over. The entrance is secure, and privacy assured with lock and chain. Floors are wood effect laminate so no concerns about carpet care. Cosham is not an 'upmarket' town, but it is well stocked with shops including a Wetherspoons for nice English Ale. Local restaurants are varied, with a good Chinese opposite, and a welcoming Keralan Indian with an interesting local menu. All in all, the flat is somewhere I could live in!

The covered parking space could have been wider - if you own one of the new nasty bulky cars, you might struggle to get in, but there is alternative outside parking if you drive a Buff.

Generally clean apartment, facilities provided by the host including microwave, oven, fridge/freezer and parking spaces. Good value for money.

The shower was not working during my stay. Other than that, no complaints.

Absolutely lovely property, everything there we needed, spotless, it was immaculate. Very clear instructions given how to check in, fantastic having own parking space. We lived in Portsmouth for many years so we know the area well, but the directions given to flat and parking space were clear and easy to follow for those who didn’t know the area! I will definitely stay there again, lovely place

Good location for visiting my relatives in Cosham. The flat is lovely with everything I could possibly need provided. It is a very clean and modern flat with a comfortable bed and a good sized TV.

I had trouble opening the key safe but managed to open it after a few attempts.

The apartment was ideally located to train station, and handy for a few shops, takeaways. Secure property

Occasional slight noise from adjoining residential apartments, but generally quiet at night.
