Royal Mile Romance by Edinburgh Heritage Collection

How central the location was, right on the royal Mile. Bed comfortable, bathroom great I loved the Victorian building really enjoyed my stay here.

I had no issue with this at all. However maybe parents of young babies might find the location too noisy during the day with the pipers and performers

Ok, but lacking in finer details for the price. Needs a shelf in bathroom to put toiletries. Slightly shabby ie. tap handle in sink broken and also hot tap in bathroom washbasin. No tea towel. Not enough toilet roll. Empty box of laundry tablets. Bedding stained. We both were bitten by fleas, but I suppose we stupidly didn’t check that animals were allowed in the property!

Es muy pequeño pero bueno, lo preciso para dos. Le falta alguna mesa o soporte donde comer ya que tiene la cocina bastante equipada. Pero al tratarse de tan céntrico y dar a la Royal Mail, hay muchos ruidos y claridad porque no son personas que cierren completamente. El estor deja descubierto. Solo es informativo para quien tenga dificultad de conciliar el sueño. Pero está en pleno centro.

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the Royal Mile. Ideal for our event at the Signet Library, which was a 3-minute walk away. Although it's a tiny studio flat, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Tip - if you're walking from Waverley Station, go up round Cockburn Street (passing lovely shops/cafes) rather than the steps up Advocates Close... unless you want a workout!

If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs and eye mask. It's a lovely tourist area full of bustle, but expect buskers (ours played excellent music) and also late night/early morning bin lorries and road sweepers. They're getting the street ready for you to enjoy the next day!
