The property had all you needed for a short stay

The bed was extremely uncomfortable,

We arrived on a very hot day, the flat was relatively cool and was able to open windows to keep cool throughout. The place was spotless and well equipped. It was a short walk into Carterton which had some nice shops and cafes. Across the road from the flat there is a coop and a few take away. Parking was no problem and the neighbourhood was nice. We used as a base for exploring the area and this place is really close to the farmers dog pub.

Pleasant area, good for evening walks locally. Rooms were well presented, facilities were good in kitchen/lounge area.

On arrival heard the sound of running water, found the wc cistern was overflowing into wc - gave the cistern a tap and it stopped. The flush button got jammed on pressing, resolved - then the cistern wouldn't fill, again a tap to the cistern resolved the problem. Feels like we may have been the first tenants of the season? After a couple of days the cistern stopped playing up but would recommend changing the flush unit. We also both came down with hay fever - we think the feather cushions may have been the cause. The bed was far too soft, very uncomfortable after a couple of hours sleeping. Sorry guys, but for the price I did expect a little better.

Great location for visiting the area. Having a large Co-op over the road was a real bonus.

Easy to find & very central for exploring the Cotswolds. Very well equipped with everything you’d need for a trip away from home. It was very handy to be able to do the washing! Co-op and various food take away outlets just across the road, so no need to cook if you don’t want to

Nothing - although it’s worth noting that there are stairs leading up to the apartment, so if you have any mobility issues you need to bear this in mind

Spotlessly clean & parking/shops opposite were very convenient. Pleasant street/estate too.

Perfect location to wagon wheel around the Cotswolds. Very close to the charming village of Burford and Jeremy Clarksons farm pub restaurant. Also Brampton village of Downton Abbey fame. And Blenheim Palace. There's nothing much in Carterton but it doesn't matter at all because a Co-op is in sight and it was wonderful to self cater.

The location is excellent, shops and takeaways 2 minutes walk away. Easy parking opposite the property. Plenty of dog walks nearby.

Lounge door opens in front of the fridge,a sliding door would solve the problem. When we booked this dog friendly apartment the booking stated charges may apply. In fact, charges do apply and we were charged an extra £25 upfront cleaning fee when no extra cleaning was necessary. We feel this extra charge should be made clear before the reservation is completed
