Bay View - Amazing Location dog friendly

Good location. Friendly seagull on window sill. Left us a pint of milk. Comfortable beds. Decor is modern.

Wasn't very clean, pillows and quilt stained. We wouldn't have noticed if we weren't asked to strip our own beds. There were cobwebs and clearly not cleaned to a high standard. Stains all over the carpet. I booked flat 2 and got flat 4, which has windows so high you can not say it has a sea view. You can only see out of them standing up... if you're tall. The boiler is in the double bedroom in flat 4, which clicked on repeatedly during the night and was very noisy. There is a strong drain smell in the bathroom. This has been repeatedly mentioned in the guest book, but I'm not sure if the letting agents read this. Parking is available, but very limited. It is a very busy location. If you have a bigger car, you will struggle. Parking wardens very active in the area from early morning.

Lovely location on Scarborough sea front. The apartment was clean and comfortable. We loved the seagull visitor, he kept us highly entertained! Well stocked with everything we needed including milk, tea, coffee and biscuits and bathroom toiletries. Great location to use as a base and car park scratchcards were waiting for us in the flat. Good communication from host too.

50 steps up to the apartment was a lot with suitcases etc. No lift due to the age and style of the building. Also there was a smell of sewage from the bathroom drains that could be very strong at times, especially after using the washing machine. We told the owner who said they'd look into it. There is a sea view from flat 4 but the windows are small and high up so you can't see it unless you are very tall!

Modern apartment and very clean.

Steps were a bit much to the 4th floor. No sea view if your only 5ft.

There is a washer and dishwasher. And each room had plenty of space.

Comfy beds, clean and generally well presented.

50 steps up to Flat 4 which was not pointed out on booking. Not suitable for people with mobility issues or heart problems. Sea view fine if you were 5ft 7 or more! Smell of sewage in bathroom
