The property is the best, as I always use the facility when I visit Exeter. However the mattress was very uncomfortable.

Central location, nicely furnished, modern facilities, comfortable beds.

Drunk woman in the high street below shouting at people every morning and evening. Scaffolding/ building works on shop fronts downstairs. However there is nothing to fault about the actual apartment.

Wonderful views overlooking the High Street through large bright windows. Nicely equipped kitchen for meal preparation, and super location - entry is onto Exeter Cathedral Square, 1 min away. There is a lift (very slow, so be patient) to reach the apartment, so no hauling bags up flights of stairs! Groceries are available 5 minutes walk away at the Sainsbury's in Guildhall Shopping Centre for meal preparation.

Exeter city Centre is heavily pedestrianized and there is a great deal of ongoing construction and roadworks, and one-way streets in the area made it difficult for our driver to find an appropriate drop-off location. The entry address faces on to the Cathedral Square, and was hidden by construction scaffolding during our stay. I'd contact the host to determine the best location for drop/off pickup given the most current situation to avoid frustration.

High ceilings were nice, kitchen was interesting (couldn’t figure out what the middle bit on the stove was though). Location was great.

I’m not sure what exactly was “luxury” about it, it’s a reasonably nicely decorated flat. It was totally okay, no major complaints, I’m just not sure what the parts that are supposed to elevate it to being termed luxury were supposed to be?

Location of the property was fantastic - looked just like the photos and the Cathedral and Christmas Market was right at the front door! Exeter was strangely cold when we arrived, but the heating was great and the house was nice and warm. The toilet did have a musky smell when we arrived, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. I've always wanted to experience living in the Cathedral Yard (since studying at Exeter Uni 10 years ago) and finally got a chance to do so when we went back to visit this time round. It may be a bit noisy at night along the High Street - typical of post-clubbing uni kids, but nothing too disruptive. Brought back great memories though! No doubt the lift was sloooooow, but all in all a great place to stay. Will be back!

The toilet had a musky smell when we arrived, but as mentioned - not a deal breaker for us. Getting a (free) parking spot overnight may be a challenge, but there're lots of carparks around so it was fine too.

Excellent location and quality of furnishings and decor. Very comfortable although a little bit noisy on Saturday evening from the pub on the High Street below. But not really a problem as we were high above o 2nd floor.

Considering its advertised as a luxury apartment. Only 3 coffee pods available, would have been nice to have enough for at least one cup each , or more. So, more tea bags and coffee. One doesn't want to go shopping for big packs of tea coffee for a short stay.shower gel and shampoo for the bathroom too. A spare loo roll. And a bin I the bathroom needed. None of this would cost the owners much and it would make a big difference to a wonderful apartment. It was very wet weather and the gutter outside the bedroom window is full of plants growing which caused the rain to overflow and land below noisily. Not a problem for me but a Maintenance issue that the owners need to address to prevent further damage.

the drains in the yard overlooking both bedrooms appeared broken. it was very loud and disrupted sleep

Beautiful, Modern Apartment. Great customer service, it’s a lovely place for a fit couple!

The apartment is situated on the 6th floor. The lift is painfully slow and hot, it’s not the easiest check-in with luggage. I would recommend visiting for a weekend! For a longer stay, the property should look into getting a drying rack for the washing machine, iron and iron board, as well as a bigger kitchen bin. The kitchen appliances are top of the range meaning they are difficult to use at first. A few light bulbs need to be replaced.
