Apartment/Flat 3

Great location for our holiday. Close to everything we wanted to do. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything that you needed, like at home. Beds were comfortable, too.

Location was handy for us. Provision of uht milk sachets and dog biscuits was a thoughtful touch.

Every aspect of this visit was irritating and it reminded me of staying in student halls. We had a dog with us and, despite asking well in advance, wasn't informed of the £150 deposit until the cancellation/refund deadline had passed (we already knew that there was some form of charge but not the details). Then had a long conversation about how to pay but owner wouldn't supply bank details until 48hrs prior to visit. These weren't provided until the day of our stay and I had to chase it up along with details of how to access property. We were travelling from one holiday destination to this one so having to sort things and consider the possibility of ending our holiday early put a dampner on things. Arriving at the property it looked like someone had attempted to kick the door in and there was various bits of damage throughout which wasn't pleasant and also made me worry that the owner would try to withhold the dog deposit (she didn't). There were signs everywhere about how to treat the property which wouldn't have bothered me if it was in better condition to begin with. Netflix wasn't included as advertised. Sofa was not comfortable and had stains. The skylight was filthy and this was mentioned in the guest book so not a new thing. Children complained that beds were uncomfy due to cheap, thin mattresses. Deposit was repaid promptly but maybe only because I chased it up - there was an explanation for this so not really the owner's fault but equally, something that impacted the next stage of our holiday.

Location and parking space was useful. Shops and pubs all within walking distance. Clean and stocked with milk etc to start us off which was lovely. Lots of utensils and comfy bed. Understanding host when we accidentally spilled onto the sofa.

The bathroom seemed unfinished with part grouted tiles and pipes not boxed in fully. WiFi was weak throughout but not an issue for us personally.

The location in Menai Bridge was great close to good food outlets. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped.

The apartment was quite dark as it is in a basement .
