Wasn’t made clear it was 1st floor flat Wasn’t made clear garden was outside 1st floor accommodation which was awkward as their patio window opened onto garden. Wouldn’t have booked if this was made clear

Great assistance from owner and super helpful. The place is well maintained and upkeep with recent renovation, can see a lot of well thought out improvements.

Pervious renter must have ruined the set of frying pans.

the kitchen water tap should get some attention. It's rusty and I noticed a few times there's rusty bits in the water. At the surface you don't see. That's probably why it's there. Not a big thing, though. Everything else was excellent.

Cosy, comfortable, clean, warm, good location.. affordable

The blinds in the double bedroom when pulled down.. would not go back up? As busy out sightseeing.. then just too tired I did not have time to let my host know.

The place was well-maintained, comfortable, and had all the essentials for a pleasant visit. Great location with easy access to the city. Park space. Highly recommend!

On first arriving we were met by Susie who was very helpful. We enjoyed one night there and the property appeared clean.On the first morning of our holiday my son found bed bugs .I contacted the host who accused me of putting them into property.She was incredibly insulting and said "try and get a refund through booking .com and good luck with that" I explained I was more than happy to pay for the night we had used, but on finding bed bugs was not going to stay the second night. She refused my refund. This person has never met me or my son and her first response was to accuse me of planting live bed bugs in her property. I fully understand that even clean properties can have these problems but to have this levelled at me was appalling. I was asked to capture a bug and leave it in glass on the draining board as proof.I was also asked to send photos of bites. Thankfully we don't have any. The bed bugs were a problem but a bigger problem was the attitude the host. I would suggest that no one books this pace until it is fumigated and frankly the host has some training in customer services. I will be taking this further to obtain the refund.

I was willing to pay for the night we used and only wanted a refund for the second night having found bed bugs. Had this been a ruse as suggested I wouldn't have booked 2 nights in the first place.

We received a very warm welcome at the place by the operations manager Susie - though we were arriving late because of plane delays. The apartment is very well decorated and equipped with everything you'd could think of to need. It is a snug house, even with a garden area that could be used - only the rainy weather prohibited it for our stay. Comfortable beds, house very clean and neat. Calm - no noise from the street or neighbors. Everything you can wish for a short stay in Oxford! Also, communication was totally fine. Given the fact that the bus into town is interrupted at the railway station, we received very good directions how to get into town - and also which taxi company to use best.

There is a bus stop right before the house. It isn't the fault of the owners that the bus has to stop at Osney Islands - from where you'd need a short walk over to the main station - as there is a road closure due to construction works at the railway station. It is no problem if you are good for a walk and the weather allows for it. We even walked all the way 'home' from town one evening - as the bus was arriving only in 17 minutes - and Google Maps told us you could walk this in the same time. Indeed, when we arrived, the bus also arrived! - However, the walk was partially on a way through the forrest - there are no lamps. Had to use our phone torch to get along. Taxis have to take a long deviation over the highway to get there - and if you are on the wrong cab, this could be also pricey.
