hot tubs nice but you have to go out the front door and round the side to access it’s clean

the owner is the worst I’ve ever dealt with there was no heating, we was freezing, couldn’t find a thermostat; there was a box on the wall which may have one but it was locked up when I got to the house on Friday night my car had enough charge to get me to a charger on the motor way but I think maybe it auto switched on at some point or I might have even left a light on inside on accident, anyway, the Sunday morning before I left I plugged my car in for probably a little over half and hour, I needed just over 8 miles to get to my grandparents to charge more, for those who don’t know, this would cost £2-£4, it was early so I just plugged it in, in fairness I didn’t ask the host but it wasn’t a secret as his house is right next door. I was greeted with banging on the window, I came out the bedroom and the host was the rudest bloke I think I’ve ever met, calling me rude, selfish, a child, walking round like I own the place, I explained my situation and said I only need a few pounds worth to get going so he demanded I pay £5 extra. I said ok and walked away back into my bedroom as I was getting tetchy myself, 2 minutes later he knocks on the window again with more comments how I’m rude and I’m taking advantage, and for some reason saying I was breaking the window, it’s hard to explain on a review but I can assure you the window was full swing open and my cable was just lying on the cill, he quickly dropped this comment as I think he knew he was being silly, I think he said ‘it doesn’t matter what I said about the window’ anyway I walk away again and 5 minutes later he demands I go outside to him and show him in my car to prove how many miles range I have, (if I was willing to give this man £5 for the electric I used I don’t see why this mattered) but I agreed to show him my live car app to show him my range without going outside and getting dressed etc, which he strongly refused. so I ended up just unplugging it and luckily I got to my grandparents in the end.

clean and well furnished. really enjoyed our 2 night stay. hot tub was a nice addition. will 100% consider returning in the future.

Everything!!!! Clean, comfortable, homely, amazing quiet location! Ideal for those wanting to get away from the day to day like we did. Even the pup loved it! Will be back!

Keýs were in a lock box. Was sent full instructions day before. Lovely to have tea coffee milk and biscuits on arrival. The bottle of wine was a lovely extra.
