Self catering upper floor flat at Woodend house

Amazing apartment so comfortable and relaxing. Great location in a stunning area.

Friendly host, very nice and roomy flat, with full kitchen facilities. Bring your own food, although we were provided eggs. There is butter and jam, coffees and teas, small cups of milk provided. Cooking pots, dishes, silverware, cups and glasses all provided. We loved our stay, it was perfect for us.

Cannot think of anything we didn’t like, except maybe going up the stairs with luggage.

Lovely House

Lovely self contained flat in the loft area of a bungalow. The owners live below you. You have your own entrance to come & go as you please. Got everything you need. The owner left us fresh fruit, eggs, yoghurts, milk, jam, hot chocolate & a couple of biscuits. Nice surprise. The owner was so friendly. Very comfortable bed. Good hot shower. Very quiet location just off the main road. Ample parking.

The soundproofing was not good. Doors banged frequently. I was awakened to the TV on loud on our last morning at 6:30am. But was quiet previous to this.

It is very conveniently located. The property was immaculately clean. Everything I needed was in the flat - kitchen fully equipped with all the basic condiments, toiletries, overall a lot of space.

The flat is part of a detached house with its own dedicated entrance, but obviously still in the same property as the owners so some noise from below was inevitable. It didn't affect me very much on this occasion, but I could see how it might bother some people, and I might be a little bothered by it if I stayed for more than 1 night.
