Lower Flat, Nicolson House.

The property was perfect for our stay in Portree - close to restaurants and pubs, and a close drive to anything we wanted to see on the Isle of Skye. The flat was absolutely beautifully decorated and the hosts even left us some nice treats and provisions which really helped kick off our stay. The beds were super comfy/cozy and the soap from the Isle of Skye soap company smelled divine!

Amazing spacious apartment in a great location and free parking nearby. The host was amazing in communication and also with hospitality. Highly recommended!

Check in is at 4pm, on arrival at 15:45pm we went to see the access where we were confronted by a very abrupt cleaner “can I help you” “check in is not until 4pm” we were just looking how to access. This apartment advertises as pet friendly and when booking this was selected “travelling with pets” however this followed by a message from Nicolson house Jen in a very abrupt and rude manner that there is a extra charge for this service even though it was mentioned when making the booking, I also mentioned that we have booked on many occasions through booking.com selecting travelling with pets and never experienced this, We live in the Netherlands and never experienced this issue when booking in the continent, to which the reply I got from Jen was “things work differently in Britain, which I found totally in appropriate, I proceeded to ask about the TV in the accommodation as it was not working but the responses and professionalism was appealing so we decided to not engage further with the team, this put a damper on the trip, it really felt like we were staying in someones house that didn’t really want us there which is incredible when we paid such a premium to be there over the NY period to be spoken too in such a way.

Die Unterkunft ist mitten im Ortskern Portree‘s. Bars, Pubs,Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in direkter Umgebung vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Eigentümer sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Kommunikation über Booking hat reibungslos funktioniert.
