Lower Flat, Nicolson House.

The level of thought that has gone into the property and hospitality we received was outstanding. The apartment had everything we needed and is beautifully styled, it was also more spacious than we anticipated. Lovely touches with the treats provided for us and our little pup. The location is fab with everything you need within walking distance and although there is no designated parking space, free parking was available a few minutes walk away. There is also a short stay car park in the square opposite where you can park for free for 30 mins if you need to unload bags etc. Portree is a great location for exploring the Isle of Skye.

Excellent location right in the centre of Portree. Close to all the shops and grocery store. Beautiful view of the town square from the front windows.

I was shocked at how popular Portree still was in the fall season. Make sure to make reservations at the popular restaurants or you will be disappointed.

So central and well equipped.

Saturday night revellers were a bit noisy into the small hours of the next morning which made it difficult to sleep…but hey-they were just having fun!!

Very comfortable bed and pillows, really appreciated the stocked kitchen including milk and orange juice in the fridge, as well as tea, coffee, eggs and bagels. Very central location for seeing sights on Skye.

Right above busy restaurant and a bar across the street, so sometimes noisy, especially if windows were open. Need more light in hallway to suites- could not see lockbox numbers!

Stylish flat in a fantastic location with restaurants/ pubs / shops within easy walking distance. Lovely welcome pack for both humans and our two dogs

Location was perfect, very central, close to everything in Portree. Apartment was super clean. The host placed a half dozen eggs, milk, bagels, OJ, snacks as welcome gift that were really helpful in our next day breakfast. Really appreciated. The decoration in the apartment was tasteful. Having a washer was quite helpful. The fact the host let us know where to find free parking was really nice and helpful.

Things that could be better; just to nitpick: - a bedding for a guest to sleep on the floor or couch. The apartment is for 4 guests and there are 2 bedroom, with a decent sized bed in each room. However, in an event if two guests don't want to sleep together in 1 bed then it'd be great to give an option of a folding mat and bedding for them to sleep on the floor or couch. - For some reason we stopped getting hot water on the 2nd day of our stay. Apparently, the water heater switch got turned off. Perhaps the host could label/tag the critical switches in the house so the guests could self serve but no big deal overall.
