CRIB GOCH HOLIDAY CABIN SNOWDONIA

We booked crib goch holiday park we stayed at 145 cabin are beds were comfortable, the shower has really good hot running water, towels were provided for us, and extra blankets if needed Richard and Mary are lovely hosts they provided us all the information we needed and about the pool doesn't open until may depending on the weather . This is a peaceful location a beautiful place the views are amazing we loved watching the sun set. On a clear night you can Star gaze. We had a amazing stay shame is wasn't longer will definitely book again .

The location was brilliant

Unfortunately the shower was not very good the water trickled out so couldn't shower properly. the water in the kitchen sink to wash up was very slow too so had to use the kettle, the fire was on a timer so got very cold, the TV WiFi didn't work it was not showing the WiFi that was given on the WiFi key so used my hot-spot to watch TV. There was no number to contact anyone for these issues after the reception is closed

The property was in extremely poor condition. There was mold on light switches, door frames, and other surfaces, dead bugs, rubbish left in drawers, and hairs on the bed. Despite running the heating at full blast, the property remained freezing. There were rust and stains on metal surfaces, a leaking toilet, and a shower that couldn’t reach a decent temperature. Additionally, the stairs were slippery. Overall, the property was not fit for purpose and should be condemned. On top of that, the food at the country park was just reheated in microwaves and very expensive. I have taken over 12 photos

The location was perfect

Black Mold, damp, dirty and unsafe. We were really disappointed with our stay. The cottage has a lot of potential, but it feels like it hasn’t been properly maintained or cared for. Several reviews mention it needs some TLC, and unfortunately the same issues are still there. There was black mould throughout the property — on the blinds, behind the sofa, on the bathroom light pull, bedroom walls and even across parts of the ceiling. It didn’t feel like a healthy or comfortable environment to relax in. The place was also extremely cold, and the heaters barely made any difference. We ended up sitting in coats and hats indoors, which isn’t what you expect on a break away. We were also told only 48 hours before arrival that we’d need to top up the electricity meter ourselves. This really should be made clear in the listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking. The biggest concern was the electric shower, which had visible burn marks on the casing. It was very unsettling to see that while using it. When we raised this with the host, the responses were dismissive and didn’t properly address the safety issues. The shower was replaced after we complained, which raises the obvious question: if it was truly safe, why was it changed immediately? Overall, the cottage could be lovely, but the damp, cold, electrical concerns, and the poor communication from the host made the stay far below expectations.
