The Annex @ 3 East Town Cottages

This is a great place to stay. The bed is very comfortable which is important to me as I have a bad back. It was spotlessly clean for our stay. Lovely location overlooking fields but close to amenities.

Nice and cosy

Little cold in winter time

The accommodation has been beautifully designed to maximise a small space and include everything for a couple travelling together. There is a sofa bed too, but I am glad we were alone. The bed is super comfy with a good duvet and nice sheets. The towels are plentiful and a selection of sizes. The sofa bed sofa is comfortable (which is often not the case), next to a picture window over the farm fields. The heating is efficient, shower works well and there was shower liquid too. The kitchen is fully equipped, although we did not cook as such. The weather was blowing a gale, so we were glad of the smart TV to keep our minds off the howling wind. Jill is a very good communicator, and replied very quickly. No hesitation in recommending the Annex if the location suits your plans. We were visiting someone in Trowbridge.

If I had to comment on something I would say I thought the instructions for finding the Annex were too complicated. It made us anxious about finding it and there was no need to be. The other thing is that the shower room is very small and twice I hit my head getting up from the toilet. Just be aware and more careful than I was.

Bed was super comfy! Perfect facilties for our first family trip away. Hand drawn map on the wall giving ideas of places to walk, visit and eat at was a lovely touch.

Location was a bit isolated but gorgeous. Stunning views over the countryside and withing easy drive of a few nice pubs.

Not designed to sleep more than 2 people as not much space.
