Fantastic pub in the heart of Elsecar, arrived back late on Friday and the party vibes we're in full swing, loved it. Lovely original features pub. Room we're clean and modern. Incredible value.

Personal issue, but didn't like the textured pillows.

It was conveniently located for where we needed to be and due to an event in the area accommodation choices were limited for family rooms and generally overpriced everywhere. Easy to go to and from and close by to all amenities in Elsecar, including two breakfast options and two pubs serving food for lunch and dinner.

The bed was not very comfortable and the shower screen was leaking. It is above a pub, so inevitably there is some noise but we knew that when we booked and it did not really affect our ability to sleep.

The place was easy to find. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was excellent, comfortable, modern and clean. Parking very closeby. A great place to stay and the price was economically excellent.

The room was a bit too warm, even with the window open, but I slept soundly.
