Perfect accommodation for exploring the Lake District! Clean and comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen 😊 would 100% stay again!

Helpful, welcoming, friendly hosts whose property is very comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the large fluffy towels, extensive range of kitchen utensils and information provided. This is our second visit to Little Burbank, we felt like we had arrived home. Lovely views to enjoy whilst dining inside or outside. Very central location for visiting many Lake District towns and attractions.

Lovely apartment clean and great for a short break with nice outlook and a 5 min drive to Windermere centre. Good pub across the road. Mel and Sue were great hosts and it was good to get some washing done!

Bed wasn’t that comfortable but wasn’t tooo bad!

The location was perfect for hiking and the ability to cook was extremely helpful in managing my intolerances that store bought food can aggravate. The view was beautiful, and the facilities were very clean. Also, Netflix and such were provided on site by the owners, perfect for us after getting back from our walks. Finally, upon leaving we forgot our house keys. Mel called us immediately and was kind enough to stay in so we could enjoy our last day before heading back for them, in our opinion it went beyond what we expected from an Airbnb.

The biggest pan was still a little small for us, would have enjoyed a wok or similar for the kitchen. The public transport links were not as helpful as we had hoped but that isn’t the owners fault obviously, just a note in case that is a must for you. This was due to poor uber pick ups nearby that drivers were reluctant to use, causing a number of unaccepted lift requests, as well as multiple longer bus changeovers to reach certain towns (e.g. Keswick). The house also got very hot, could be our mistake with the heating but we believe they were turned low most of the time.

The place is beautifully styled, cozy, and full of charm. The location is perfect, 2 miles to Windermere but away from the tourist crowds, so you get peace and quiet with stunning views right from the big window. Just sitting in the living room was already so relaxing. The apartment has such a calming, welcoming vibe – it’s the perfect escape from the city. It is very clean and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen if you feel like cooking.
