Red Squirrel Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage. We had the privilege of watching 2 young red squirrels playing in the stunning garden and feed off the window ledge. The cottage itself is spotless and has everything you would need to enhance your stay. We had the wood burner on most nights and sat in complete peace and tranquility. Logs are stocked in the wood shed, the owners encourage you to help yourself. The owners live in the adjoining building and were so welcoming and friendly.The courtyard provides safe and easy parking. We will definitely be returning later in the year to recharge the batteries again ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This little cottage is beautifully appointed. It is immaculate. Comfortable beds with quality bedding. The setting in the village of Strathtay is beautiful. A few minutes walk takes you down to Grandtully with a choice of places to eat or sit out and enjoyy the river views. We ate at the Inn on the Tay which served delicious food which we enjoyed with a view of the Tay. Bird life and squirrels are all around the cottage. Though not an issue for us, the stairs within the cottage are steep with narrow treads so perhaps not for anyone elderly or with mobility issues. I visited with my daughters and daughter in law and squirrel cottage felt like a real wee luxury getaway for us. Thank you Lucy!

Disliked nothing but it’s a cottage so it’s compact but the space was more than ample of us and had everything and more we needed
