"Superb"

Host had left a bottle of fizz a lovely welcome card and some mince pies for us on arrival. Also wood burning stove was lit for us before arrival.

Just a little cold downstairs when fire not on and a bit difficult to get wood burning stove going at a good temperature. However host did put stove on for us before arrival.

"Great quiet area."

The beds are so comfy, the pillows plush. It was very cosy and comfy all round. The rooms are a really good size particularly if 2 people are sharing the twin room. You can't beat a wood burning fire to help heat up on a chilly autumnal day. The hosts were friendly and informative of the area. There is also good parking.

We had a good laugh about it but the stairs are very steep, though there is a hand rail.

This property is located in a quiet and tranquil setting, we loved watching the wildlife around the property and waiting to spot an elusive red squirrel. The cottage is cosy and comfortable and is set up with everything you need to make your stay relaxing.
