1 Bedroom Apartment with a Wonderful View

The picture is not of the actual apartment and gives a slightly inaccurate representation of the reality It is extremely small and cramped even for one person and their dog! There were some very dusty corners in the apartment

Beautiful location on a farm, and easy access from the motorway

The self-catering element was a bit challenging with a kitchen that was hard to use. There was a shower unit in the kitchen area.

Lovely setting. Friendly, helpful hosts. Lovely dogs and horses all around. Comfy double bed and wonderfully quiet at night. Charger for electric car. Dog friendly. For just 2 people it is good (if you don't mind a shower in the middle of your kitchen area).

This is NOT a one bedroom apartment - it is a studio flat (i.e. just one quite small room containing the bed, sofa bed, kitchen and shower). Only the loo is in a separate small room. It does say 'one room' in the details but 'one bed apartment' is misleading. Also the sofa bed would do for a child to stay with you but it is very close to the double bed so not ideal for everyone. You can get additional guests a room in the B & B in the main house (which we ended up doing and it was great but it did add quite a lot to our expenses for the stay). Facilities in the 'apartment' are a bit minimal - there is only a hob and a microwave - no oven (though the hosts let us use theirs).

The shower cubicle was in the living/kitchen area and we could understand why as a little juggling and it could be fitted into cloakroom area The toaster was rather dusty. Choose not to use it

Nice grounds and views, comfy bed

It was a studio rather than one bed apartment with the shower in the kitchen, didn't have the travel cot we were advised we would have for our 10 month old baby. Photos are misleading for layout of the room.

The room is private and the view is incredible, it was clean and the bed was comfy, there was tea and coffee provided and a small fridge and microwave. The host was very friendly when we arrived, and its lovely having horses and dogs around.

We had not realised there was no sitting area, so the sofa bed we thought would be in a separate room was in the bedroom with the double bed, and we hadn't realised the shower was not in the bathroom but in the middle of the kitchen area which was a bit odd but fine. Maybe our fault for not really asking more details.
