Loved it! It was in a great spot, very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend staying there!

The heating wasn’t consistent and one night turned on, but the other, didn’t. Also the first night only 2 out of the 3 of us could shower because there was no more hot water. Just a note that the washing machine didn’t drain properly when we tried to use it

Off-street free parking and a very short walk from the town centre. Nice kitchen, dining and living areas. Nice welcome pack.

This was our second visit to the Isle of Skye, and since we stayed near Dunvegan the first time I wanted to stay in Portree. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the Portree harbor. It's also just a couple minutes drive from the big Co-op grocery, making the location ideal. There are three apartments here, and there is room for three cars (if the other guests would park appropriately!) I was in apartment 3. The bedrooms were upstairs and were very comfortable. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed (but no paper towels for some reason). The place was very clean and there was plenty of room for 4 people to relax. There's also a separate washer and dryer (you don't see that often in Europe!). The price was very good when you compare it to other apartments on Skye.

The location of the bathroom isn't ideal. The bathroom is located in the mudroom/foyer entry area, but it was spacious. However, there's an odor in there that won't go away. It's a combination of moth balls/petroleum and I believe it comes from the stained wood beam they used as a shelf in the bathroom. The smell is strong enough that it permeates the whole floor for those with sensitive noses. Also, the mount for the shower head was broken, so it was only usable as a hand-held (should be replaced). This is one of those places that my rating would fluctuate based on the price paid - it would be a great find if you can get a below market price.
