Self Catering Apartment, Jurassic Coast/Dorset

A lovely apartment in a beautiful setting. The host, Sinead, was brilliant. So friendly and helpful and it made our stay all the more special, thank you.

The weather!!

The location is perfect for the Jurassic coast all within a 30 minute drive

Location was peaceful. Outlook of pasture and grazing sheep

The bedroom was badly designed. Access to both sides of bed very tight with a sloping ceiling on one side. Totally unnecessary to have a dividing wall between bedroom and corridor to bathroom. Removing this would have allowed better use of a fairly large space. All furniture was very cheap and utilitarian - especially the clothing storage drawers which collapsed when canvas drawer was opened.

We were moved to another location due to the owner having family issues out of their control. The location we went to was called Woodlands, the manager there greeted us warmly , and instructed us to where the facilities were, which included a fantastic hottub.

The first night was bliss, the next night was another story. The building that we stayed in was split into two, both had lots of rooms and a hottub, there were rules that clearly state, respect your neighbours, no loud noise after 10pm. Our neighbours just so happened to be a stag group, and they partied till 4am, total disregard to us, with loud shouting and loud dance music.
